In 2007, the British Library joined the image sharing website Flickr to upload a scanned database of illustrations from their collection on a free to use basis. I thought it would be an interesting design challenge to take some of the illustrations from largely forgotten books in the library's collection and transform them into vibrant prints. I've included the original illustration to give context.
